I must admit, I have not done a search, so apologies if these have been asked before. :o

I have been getting a bit tired of FF atm, it seems to be going a bit slow for me when browsing in general. I've just installed Opera, and so far I'm liking it a lot. The interface and effects are nice and smooth and the browsing seems quick.

However, some things which I'm confused by,

1. Where is the "Home" button?

2. In FF, I could open an entry in my bookmarks with the middle click (i.e. open it in a new tab). How can I do this in Opera?

That's it so far!

Oh actually, in FF I had an extension for the OCUK forums in the menu bar. Does Opera have a similar one I can add?

Thanks! :)

"Appearance > Buttons" for the Home button.

Not sure about the middle click, but it would be useful if someone knows how to do it.

And for the extension, it depends what you used it for. If it was for search, you can right click and create a shortcut for any search box you want.

Cheers for the help.

That worked a treat, lol thought I was missing some buttons. :D

I also like the "SpeedDial" thing actually, so I might not need the ocuk extension. When I click "NewTab" I've put the forum link as number1. It's a pretty good idea actually. :)

Middle-click should open a bookmark/link in a new tab by default.

:( it doesn't do it for me...

Would it be because the bookmarks were imported from FF? I just opened Opera and they were all there.

Nope, it doesn't work for me either. Unless I put the bookmarks on the 'Personal Bar' then it works.

re middle click. It works on mine but I have been using Opera for so long I can't remember what I had to set. Try tools > Preferences > Advanced > Shortcuts > Middle-click options and see what it is set to.
