Hi,

Have just installed windows 7 64bit home premium. All is fine and just installed a few programs, had to restart a few times aswell.

I installed the OS itself onto a 500GB SATA hard drive, that I formatted completely before installing windows 7.

However, I also have a 1TB SATA drive that I use to store files etc (this drive was not present when I installed the OS and disconnected it during the install).

So, I powered off the computer and reconnected by 1TB drive. However, just after the post I get the following error: "Disk Boot Failure, Insert System Disk and Press Enter...".

If I power off again and remove the 1TB the message does not appear and windows loads as normal.

There's also nothing wrong with the 1TB disk as the BIOS is detecting it fine and I used it a couple of hours ago.

Any ideas? I'm not running any sort of RAID or anything.

Thanks

Aha! Simple fix. Assumed windows 7 found all the drivers fine, but it didn't. Just went to the abit site and download the latest chipset driver and all works as expected now. :)
