Just lost £100 account credit due to my bank screwing up and blocking my card

The order was cancelled but the £100 credit on my account has just completely disappeared, not even visible on the order itself in my past orders.

Obviously can't contact OCUK right but has anyone heard of anything like this happening? I'll phone them tomorrow but pretty ****** right now
 
Maybe better suited to the customer service forum dude, but I wouldn't worry - you will get your credit back, this just isn't the kind of thing that can be easily coded into a shop/order system!

im trusting that OCUK will hopefully be fine about it and re credit, just thought i'd ask if this has happened before where someone has lost credit, more ****** at my bank tbh, i proved to them it was me and they still blocked my card
 
If this kind of thing happens frequently I would be on to the bank and credit agencies to find out why.
Once in a blue moon? Fine - it's the nature of things these days, but more frequently and I'd be looking into the root cause.
 
little tip most fraud will happen on a Sunday evening. why your credit cards get blocked :) I once blocked 3 of my dads credit cards when we needed a fridge freezer ASAP.
 
For some reason my bank thinks ocuk is dodgy everytime I've ordered stuff it's always flagged. Banks are useless.

Same I have to use Paypal or check out with Amazon here - despite twice phoning up bank/VISA and having a moan it seems a problem more with VISA than the bank as such though.
 
I've been blocked on here too by my bank - basically only place it seems to happen. Was too long ago to remember the day of week though!

Good luck getting your credit back, I'm sure you will.

If you paid by credit card, it can take until the end of the month to appear on your balance... Blame the credit card company. I suggest you call overclockers and discuss with them, and if they refunded it then call your bank or credit card company.
 
On my side as well
Nationwide send me a text to confirm transaction
So first transaction fails
And do a second one Wich might fail as well
A have a lot of faild transactions on my account
