Hi everyone,

I've recently moved to London to live and work for a while from Australia. So far I like it here, although I've yet to really meet anyone that shares my likes/hobbies like gaming through all hours of the night and building computers.

Is there any popular LAN cafes that are not in central london? I'm buying my own gaming laptop for while I'm here but I guess the best way to meet gamers and likeminded people is to go to meeting places like LAN cafes?

Thanks :)

Welcome to the Forums!

I'd say talk to people on forums to get into LAN parties and the like, will be a good way to meet a good range of gamers. I'm sure you can find many that way, maybe even the gamers part of the forum here will get you some decent LAN setups if you can get enough people together :)

you moved from australia to england!!!!!

are you MAD????????:eek::eek:

hope you like the cold n rain,n endless droning about the olympics:(

Aussie is great, but moved here for a change of lifestyle - just for a year or 2. :) You can't easily travel europe from Australia, just to get here costs £1000.. Only here to experience europe, then back to my home and computer haha.

Might be worth joining some gaming based communities. Multiplay UK are on that host a lot of big LAN parties.

However, you have just made a HUGE move across the world, why would you want to go sit in a LAN centre lol
