I'm usually ok with these things but thought taking a couple of seconds to check is safer

My Brother's needing a Ram upgrade and I was going to suggest:

I'd have to dig out the part no., but 2*2Gb sticks of G.Skill
I had a quick look and 2 more of the same ram was 30 and he'd max out his slots, So I suggested that and he still has the upgrade option later.
That an alright Idea?

That makes sense to me.

Though I don't filling up all the slots is a major issue. Its not likely Gaming will use more the 8GB anytime soon.

I do see the reasoning though..
