all i need is the following, im not great on pc specs so didnt want to make a mistake and get something crap or incompatible so i i ask for info on here which im also grateful for but ive asked recently and i cant seam to get any help on buying these upgrades from OCUK...

Budget is Around £800 or lower if possible!

ATX Tower
MB (that is ok with win10 and win7)
Ram
PSU
Intel Or Ryzen (whichever is best of the 2 brands for gaming)

I already have Red Dragon V2 8192MB GDDR5.

thanks

I don't think its that people aren't trying to help but windows 7 is no longer supported by microsoft and motherboard manufacturers for new boards. I went on a couple of websites and their wasn't support for windows 7, just 10. If you are happy getting a build advice for just windows 10 then I am sure people will help.

ok no worries man i understand and i guess i was happy to stay with 7 for so long, and im now willing to go with windows 10 (if i can find a legit version at a good price)

what setup could i get with windows 10 based on my current info please?

i do like the sound of the intel as i would be upgrading from my intel which as served me so well with only prob over years was sound part on board going which i just bought a separate sound card. 16gb memory sounds fine! think i would need 32gb as i do some video editing as well as gaming but the editing part can take so long.

thanks again

and i will keep the info on the ryzen setup for when i need to upgrade my partners pc

Unlocked (or suffixed with K) means you can overclock if desired (assuming you have a Z prefixed motherboard). You may wish to, you may not. The locked versions are typically cheaper if you are certain you don't wish to overclock. It isn't difficult to do, and you can get some better performance if you choose to. Lots of guides online. Note that unlocked Intel CPUs do not come with stock coolers, but locked ones do, so if you decide to go with a locked CPU then you should be able to get by with what's bundled.

Also note, Intel do not presently support PCIE4. This may or may not matter to you :)

so if i dont want to over clock then this bundle is ok to buy right?

if i do want to overclock it dose any changes need to be made?
