Hello folks
This is a build I'll be putting together soon...

CPU - i7 5820K
Mobo - ASRock X99 Extreme6
Cooler - Noctua NH-D15S
RAM - Crucial 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-17000C16 2133MHz Quad Channel Kit
GPU - MSI Geforce GTX 980ti Gaming 6gb
Storage - 3 x Samsung 850 EVO 500gb SSD's
HDD - an old Western Digital Caviar Black 640gb.
Optical - BluRay Writer (Don't know which yet)
Case - Fractal Design Define R5

I'm inclining towards the SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 750W Fully Modular "80 Plus Platinum" Power Supply. Or maybe I'll get the 850W version.
Right now I don't plan to SLI but I want to make sure I don't completely rule out a bit of future expansion.
I've done some of the psu calculator sites and it should be ok.
But what do you think? Will 750w be enough?

For a single card config, 750w platinum would be fine, and from what I have researched on the internet(/been told on forums), 850w platinum is bordering on sufficient for a dual 980Ti config, with 1000w being perfect.

Edit: Do you plan to overclock?

I may overclock, but nothing extreme. If I can just cross the 4ghz threshold that would be nice, but that would be enough.
Do you think it might be better to get the 850w just in case though? Or would that be foolish overkill considering it's unlikely that I'll ever go SLI.

I wouldn't say it's foolish overkill, they're "only" gold for the 850w (if I recall correctly?) - More is never really a bad thing when it comes to power supplies, especially when it's 100 watts difference.

The price difference is only £10 and the 5820k is quite power hungry from what I've seen, I would definitely say go for the more headroom.
