Long story short, my p910i now has a deep scratch in the centre of the touch screen.

Can it be repaired?

If so, how much? How easy? By whom?

If not, I'm claiming it on my contents insurance.

I'm not a happy bunny. At all.

Dead things this week:

Router
TV (Sony 32" Wega IDTV)
Monitor
PS2
Now...Phone

:(

I'm not touching anything with a chip in it for the rest of the week...

is it on the screen itself or the plastic covering? if its the covering it should be easily doen for about a tenner, if its the screen its gonna cost about 90 quid, try asking around any local phone shops

Yeah im pretty sure, you can buy them from eBay..if not..go into a local phone shop and ask them? It might cost a bit, but that phone is worth it.

It's the plastic sheet - no damage to the screen itself but the touch screen is completely unusable.

I saw a screen going on eBay for £30 the other day, if you fancy a bit of DIY.

A friend of mine got his P900 screen repaired after an incident with a pint of beer. He went somewhere in Walthamstow to get it fixed and cost £70.

Fitting the screen is easier than falling off a log, it's getting hold of one for a resaonable price that's the problem.
