Allo - as per title really. I've been decoding my chassis number and have discovered an error on the V5C - a Z has been replaced with a 2

It's not been an issue in the last 18 years I've owned the car, but I assume it's something that A: I really should sort and B: I can sort easily enough? Do I have to send the current V5 off or ring the DVSA or what do I do? I'd rather not be spending hours on the phone to them!

Pointers gratefully received!

Not been an issue for the past 18 years, why would it be now?

I can’t see many people being particularly concerned about checking the chassis number on an 18 year old car, assuming of course it’s not some rare classic…

IIRC, there was a part on the form to allow you to update details that were inaccurate.

Hardly the end of the world though. When I got the V5 for my MX5, it stated that it had 3 seats. I had that rectified.
