Just opened a new UO account after about 3 years...

So far, I'm actually enjoying it. Maybe its nostalgia, the music or something but it seems ok. I think the community on Europa is still as it ever was, albeit a little smaller.

If anyone else is keen on returning let me know and we'll meet up, use new player tickets and referrals etc for the benefit of us all

Suprised to see a fellow UO player on these boards.

I LOVE this game, was my first online game and I still play it today, since 1998.

Great Lakes was my main shard however I had 7x's on almost every shard which was any good ie. Atlantic, Lake Superior, Chesapeake, Europa, Drachenfels etc.

I quit playing the OSI shards in publish 16 just before AOS came out. EA completely ruined their game in their quest for profit... Yeah they made a short term gain on cd sales seeing as they marketed it to people who didn't already play as a new game but that very sad day thousands of us veterans quit.

I now have my own UO server which I've been running for years, it's just like the old days. Add me to MSN and we'll talk some.

Was in DJs on Europa if you remember that guild.

They were the top shottas of PvP on Europa apart from 6I6

To anyone thinking about paying for their subscription to UO again, don't bother it's not the same game and it will spoil your memories of the game.
