This was included in the bundle

Big Brain Academy (Wii)
Billy The Wizard (Wii)
Ninjabread Man (Wii)
Powerplay Sports Pack (Wii Accessories)
Sandisk 1GB SD Card (Wii Accessories)
Wii Console + Wii Sports (Hardware)
Wii Nunchuk Controller (Wii Accessories)
Mario Party 8 (Wii)
Mario Strikers Charged Football (Wii)
Super Paper Mario (Wii)

this is what i bought extra

Wii Nunchuk Controller (Wii Accessories)
Wii Classic Controller (Wii Accessories) * 2
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)
Sandisk 1GB SD Card (Wii Accessories)
Wii Play (Wii) (includes remote controller)

so i should have 2 of each controller (me and my brother) and a decent selection of games (apart from a couple of the bundled ones)

dont like rpg's or games like oblivion, like fps's, sports, racing, fighting, action, combat based games

obviously for the future mario kart is a must (when is it due out?), is there anything you guys would have done differently, or bought something else, or any decent games you can reccomend? im 22 and my brother is 11, he isnt a little kid (plays cs source and warhawk everyday) so dont want kiddy games but he does love the occasional game of spiderman 3, etc.

we also have a ps3 and an xbox 360, i prefer playing games on the xbox 360 and ps3 so dont wanna buy multiplatform games on the wii

just realised a mistake i made - should have ordered a component cable, im surprised the console doesnt come with one, the thing is though my tv only has one component in, 1 hdmi in and 2 scarts, 1 s video and the rest,

component - xbox 360
hdmi - ps3
scart 1 - virgin cable tv
scart 2 - empty
s video - empty
vga - empty

i could connect my 360 up using vga (already have vga cable spare), therefore get a component cable for the wii, or should i just use my wii through scart?

component will be best if the tv/games support 576p but rgb scart should look great at the usual 576i

well i could use component if it is the best and use vga on my 360, or i could just get an rgb scart leade, since the console isnt hd the difference between rgb scart and component shouldnt be too noticeable, you would think that tv's nowadays would come with at least 2 of every input

Most of the Nintendo Games (Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, Smash Bros) are set for 25th January, but as usual subject to change.

my brother just mentioned something to me which has got me slightly worried, he says you need to buy a sensor bar, other wise you need to use the controllers via the wire. is this true? or does the wii come with a wired sensor bar and you have the option to buy a wireless version? i was under the impression the console came with everything you need to use the controllers wirelessly

ive bought an rgb scart lead, can you choose the resolution with a scart lead? or can it only process 1 type of signal? sorry for the noobie questions, but i aint used a scart lead in over 2 years

RGB scart can't do 480p, you need the component for that. You can choose between the two other resolutions though.

would i notice any diference between say 576i and 480p or 480i and 480p on a 32 inch 720p screen? because i really dont wanna be messing about trying to switch component cables when switching between 2 consoles

Nope, a sensor bar is included.
