Now hopefully my 360 will work (sound wise) through the pc and i'll get slightly clearer music compared to my onboard

Running through the slightly date but still damn nice Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 surround set, seems the speakers have outlasted 5 pc builds

What would you recommend as the best test from onboard to these babies to get a good feel for it?

omigod!

Just got the x-fi, drivers in, threw on a couple of mp3's, wow!!

Sounds like i have just pulled the cotton wool out of my ears!! Its so...CLEAR! :eek:

And the 360 is working through Line in, Surround sound PGR3 at last instead of stero from the 1 speaker of the 14" tv

Just using the disk version right now, seems to do everything i want and sounds damn good doing it
