how good is the gfx card is it dx11 ?

Its a lower spec high end card if that makes sense and yes its a DX11 capable card its number 43 in the list

Also dont bother with the 3gb 555m, it will never need 3gb as it is only a midrange card! and dell charge an extortionate £120 to upgrade from 1.5gb!!! (I hate dell's dirty marketing tactics)

gtx460 is a much better card. Its about 5-10% slower than the 5870m

What model comes with the 460m? he must have been talking about the m15x

yip and its chaeper than the mx14 and the cpu and gfx card is upgradable , on the mx15 funny as its the older model.....

thats true, I had an m15x.
some things to take into consideration on teh 15x:

Its mooohassive, its almost a 17" in size and weight. Its runs loud but does cool the cpu and gpu well.
The trackpad was god awful so you will want to use a mouse most of the time.

The 900p and 1080p screens are both great, if you are focused on gaming get the 900p as it will give you higher fps at native.

Plays games fine. I played the following at 900p high settings:
BFBC2
MOH 2010
SC2
COD BO
Empire TW
Dirt2

The speakers are average at best.
The build quality was great but I had a bit of flex on the keyboard.
And dont forget it is 4kg so not exactly one to be lugging around all day but great if you want to move it from desk to desk
