so i've just ordered my quest 2 and am planning to use sidequest to play doom . i dont have a usb c on my computer but do have a display port on graphics card and usb3 on computer .

what cable do i need to use sidequest usb c to usb3 or display port
what hand grips are best for the controllers
what head straps do people use

anything else i should consider getting ?

The USB 3 on your PC will be fine. You'll need a longer USB A to C cable, loads of recommendations in the accessories thread.
A few peeps are using the GOMVR halo strap which is way more comfortable than the default strap. Again have a look in the accessories thread... there are also some recent reviews of hand grips too.
You may struggle to get a decent PCVR experience with the current setup that you have.
 
As I've recently posted, and should happen anyway when you link, but you will be entitled to a free copy of Asgards Wrath, which is pretty awesome (at least I think so, so far).

yes i know system is poss not up to it am going to use it for quest game to start and the upgrade computer when gpu's become available

also as i will be waiting for a usb cable can i use a phone usb c to usb only to link to get sidequest files working

As long as it's not just a charging cable there shouldn't be any issue.
 
right go mine and love it but around my nose it lets in light does anyone else suffer with this and any remedies ?
