Just ordered my Ultima Mobile 15.4"

Well i hope it will do the job! I went for the T9400 and 4GB of RAM

I am just wanting to bring it to LAN games to play some Call of Duty 4 etc

Hope it is up to the task! Does anyone else have one who would like to share their experiences with it?

I realise i won't be playing with any AA enabled, i just hope the 9800m GTS is good enough for 1680x1050 gaming!

It's good enough. I'm running Crysis with mine at the same resolution.

i went for the same cpu and the Same ram my laptop should be here tomorrow i have a feeling it will run cod 4 no problem

If you look through the OCUK custom laptop thread there is quite a lot of info.

I have had mine for a week and play:
Supcomm
company of heroes
world in conquest

I play all at 1680 and high setting with good fps. I havent got COD4 anymore as I got bored but it will definately play at decent frames at 1680 as it played well on my xps 1530 whiich only has a 8600m.
3dmark06 was 9103 @1280x1024

Hi mate,

FA gets average of 35-55 depending on my zoom level
WIC averages 34 during the built in benchmark
Not sure on COD but I will run the benchmark and update you.

Considering I am running 1680 and high I am well pleased.

You will like it, posting from mine now while watching a bit of tv! I can play cod on high, world of warcraft and warhammer on high aswell with no slowdowns at all.

Mines the 2.4ghz, 4gig ram, 320gig 7200 hd etc etc on xp pro 32bit at this moment in time, but will be on vista x64 tomorrow.

Just one question, how did you get 9103 marks in 06 on a 8600m?

This chart HERE puts a score out at 3347 - unless it's a different Chip........(if you mean your 3d mark was on your notebook in sig, then that's about right (9800GTS)
