Just ordered new PSU

Ive been using a Hiper 580w for a very long time (one I have now is about 2 years old).

Since purchasing my 5850 ive been getting a little paranoid so I have just ordered a OCZ GameXstream 850w.

Have I made a good choice? spec is in sig but I plan on upgrading soon so this would need to run future rig aswell.

Arn't those Hipers the Ticking Time Bombs? ive herd they arn't reliable..
as for your new one it can easily handle you rig, and you could probably squeeze another 5850 in there further down the line, 850 is plenty.

You be right on that,I had one of those and my pc just lost its power looked at the psu looked fine but smelt bad,It still had its warranty i think it might of been a three year one,So phoned up hiper and the man seemed shocked that it went wrong no fear as they sent me another one but that one worked for a minute and stopped and that also smelt bad but no fear i got another one,I was happy with that one but only for 6months because that also went and smelt bad.

ah don't fight it, I love my r2, best purchase in a while. you can feel confident with your OCZ, not heard a single good word towards the hiper psu's.
