Just ordered a Celeron 540, H61 motherboard and 4GB DDR3 for a budget World of Warcraft system for my other half/kids to mess about on, I was wondering what would be the minimum graphics card to play the game at 1400x900 on medium settings above 30 frames per second when questing?

Was looking at something like a 5450 or similar for about £20? Won't be used for anything more taxing, and price needs to be kept to a minimum. :D

Was trying to keep the main bits under £100, and the three parts I bought only came to £85 including a B grade motherboard, and I thought the Celeron CPU would perform better in World of Warcraft than an AMD one using a separate graphics card.

Anything will be an improvement at the moment compared to the netbook it's being run on (at about 5 - 10fps), but maybe I will look for a second hand card around the level you suggested. Thinking about it I may have an old ATI X1900XT knocking around somewhere maybe this will be useful?

This needs be fairly low powered really, ideally only maximum of one 6 pin GPU connector although fine if it's powered off of the PCI-E lane as it's gonna be run off my old OCZ 500w that hasn't been used for ages, so didn't wanna put much stress on it.

Posted in the MM wanted section anyway! Thanks for your replies.
