completely self serving gloat post, sorry.

Its been 5 years since my last system which is now giving up the ghost.
Duel core intel OC 3.4, 4gb RAM, x2 GTX8800s etc

Upgraded the SSD storage to 250gb and stuck with the standard 2Tb storage drive.

Delivery on Friday.

Can. NOT. wait.

Finally be able to play the games I have bought over the last 12 months that never ran properly on my old system.

Somehow the missus even chipped in half the cost :)

Yeah I have been really frustrated over the last year as I really wanted to play BF3, ARMA2 mods and a few other choice titles and although my computer 'theoretically' meets the min specs, it basically ate sh!t each time I tried to launch the games.

For sure I will stick some pics up as soon as she arrives and have her built.

Next month I'm gonna upgrade my monitor, its currently a 22" Samsung which is nice, but the specs of screens now, really do blow it out of the water.

And yeah, the missus ain't too bad ;)

Either way it was do that or wait for the case to arrive.

Scratch the case "upgrade" then.#

Either way the system is here and is wicked quick, very quiet and I'm happy :)

The machine rocks. Very pleased.

Playing Arma 3 in such high res and so smooth, the new monitor is fantastic too.

Though my girlfriend did moan about the size of the case. Does it have to have green lights>?

I like it, there is nothing I would change.

OCUK have been amazingly accommodating.

I know that when I get paid next, I will be putting in a second 256gb Samsung SSD as I have managed to install over 160gb of system and games already.

BF3 = 20gb
War Fighter = 16gb
