Good stuff. Which Viewsonic? I have the old VX910 which was replaced by the 912 model iirc. Good screen anyways!

Just thought i'd give a quick update.

Had a really good day yesterday building this thing. OC'ed the e6600 straight to 3gig no problem. Just gonna play around with tightening and OC'ing the RAM today. Temp wise i'm getting 20-22 idle and 42-44 under load.

Vista really flies along and has a performance rating of 5.6 out of a max 5.9. Much better than my ath64 3000+. :)

Only slight downer was that the DS3P was rev 2.0 and not 3.3. Hopefully wont make too much of a difference with updated BIOS.

Thanks again overclockers UK.

Regards, Mark.

Superb build mate, nice spec :D

Try the CPU a 400*8 for 3.2GHz then the divider on 2.5 for 1000MHz ram and pump some more volts into it and slip the timings :)

OK, sorry another update.

I've changed it so the e6600 is 400*8 for 3.2. Looking good :) Memory is multiplied by 2 so they are at 800 MHz - timings of 5-4-4-18. I haven't changed voltage at all yet.

Temps are 43-45 under load (23-25ish idle). Only managed to run Orthus for an hour (will do it overnight) but everything seems stable so far.

What should the mem timings be around? and what do I do with the volts?

Regards, Mark.

in that screen shot are you running x4 different programs? I need to run some tests on mine.
