General thoughts? I found the graphics card the hardest to choose as I currently use a 4870 and am happy with it, and so I didn't know how much to spend.

its ordered now, so my thoughts are irrelevant.

did you buy the win7 and HDD bundle to save money? or individually.

I wouldn't say that, any comments appreciated no matter how critical.
I did see the bundle in the past but didn't see it when putting it together just now, my impatience got the better of me.

You've made your choices - you're just inviting potential grief and it may spoil how you feel about your build.

However, if you're asking because you may want to change your order - then an i5 2500K would have been possible with component adjustments.

EDIT: Sorry meant to edit other post.

Ah well, its ordered now - but tbh I would have suggested changing a lot.

For one thing a budget which can support a £140 AM3 board + a £125 Phenom II X4 CPU could have instead have bought a P67 board and a much faster Intel Sandy Bridge i5 2500K CPU.

The PSU is also not great (review here). Instead I would have suggested you spend more on a quality unit.

As mentioned by stulid, you could have saved some money with an OS+HDD bundle.

The rest is pretty good value.

Any chance you can cancel the order without any cost, or has it already shipped?

IHMO that is a much better spec - but I would still review that PSU decision. Have a good read of this review and decide whether you want this powering your £1000+ worth of kit.

I would suggest having a look at this monitor - it is £10 cheaper and not really any different from the one you chose apart from aesthetics. That £10 would help you buy a much better quality PSU like this.

Sorry yeah I left it out as it is really cheap haha honestly I use steam for all my games, so a cheap drive is ok with me.

I rang up and changed my order - they were really nice about it.

Thanks for all the advice, like I said, I am not very experienced with these things.
It was a bit of a change of trousers situation when you pointed out the rather significant performance difference. And I have taken on board the PSU choice
