Just thought I'd share this with everyone. Passed with a score of 905 so chuffed with that.

Off to get some beers now :)
 
291 is the hardest mcsa exam from memory so well done :D

The AD MCP is the only one i found harder to MCSE so far.
 
Good effort. i was meant to do this but they booked me in for the 290. needed to do it anyway.

any advice which areas where prominant? obv. DNS.

DNS questions were the most prominent really and I got an MX sim which was quite easy. The exam is down for 240 mins but I completed it and reviewed it in about 80 mins. Doing it so quickly made me think I'd screwed up! Good luck for your exam when you take it.

Have you done the 290 exam yet? If so, what's it like? I go on my course fior it in a couple of weeks time.
 
Well done, 291 aka the Beast, that was one of the toughest ones I've done, all DNS and fair bit on sec polices/ ras which I have never used, didn't help I had brain fade and forgot what a conditional forwarder was ! passed on 700, anyone else doing it watch out, a bit on WSUS and was nothing in my MS book,

290 I found fairly easy,
 
I may take the 290/291 exam just after uni next year... I have 2 free MS exam vouchers that expire next october so would like to get some in before then.

I passed the 270 recently with 830... in theory it was easy but the questions are so horrendously worded which is where it went slightly more tricky.

Passing an exam is a good feeling when you've worked for it, be it MS or whatever so congratulations ! :-)
 
I keep getting tempted to get some MS exams, but i never get around to it.

I have some cources wo/ exams coming up on Exchange2k7 & SCM2007 that im doing, tempted to take the MCPs (or whatever they're called now) for them.

290 was, in my oppinion really easy. got a few questions on backup / disaster recovery, creating users, permissions (NTFS & Share) access to resources. nothing too difficult. i was suprised at how easy it was, and only 30 questions.

where i did trip up was questions involving multiple domain forests. thats about as hard as it gets.

Sat throught the XP course this week. utter waste of time. will be booking exam on monday.
