Just passed driving test first time!

I did a mock test, had 5 majors ! 2 of those was stalling on a uphill starts (which never happened before, EVeR!), another 1 was when I was paraelle parking someone came towards me and then i didn't signal so the other woman just didn't move. 1 for hesitant at a roundabout (which I am usually really good), and one i forgot to signal...........oops.

Well done btw ! Jealous !

Wow, I feel so loved! Thanks a bunch guys.

But yeah, reiterating the aforementioned, now I really learn how to drive.

Has anyone did a Pass Plus yet?

i'v done mine.
Best to leave it 5-6 months then give it a go.
Also dont leave it too long - some insurers wont give you a discount if you have more than a year between passing your test and doing your pass plus.

I did pass plus today. Passed my test a month ago and didn't drive until now, so it was a little scarey having a month out then going straight onto motorways.

However, it was fine and i recommend you do it straight away so your insurance is cheaper immediately.

How much did it cost you guys? Mine will set me back £140 for 6hrs.

I know the exercise will be invaluable to me, but will the insurance cost £140 less in the first year (or combined years)?

edit: How about excess, what do first time drivers usually allow and do lots of people add their parent(s) to their insurance?

Mine was £150 for 6 hours. I did it in two 3 hour sessions.
