Treated myself to a pair of these, think they're generally well regarded.

Paid about £30 after discount voucher and quidco, will I be happy with them for the money?

Current headphones are Sony MDR-EX71SL.

I found them very overrated. I still have mine but gave up using them ages ago because they just sounded wrong. There was no depth to the sound and bass was just not there. Since getting my Super.Fi 5 Pro's I haven't looked back.

There are better earphones but rest assured they are good for that price. It's lower because they're being discontinued. They come with lots of different types of tips. Don't be surprised if they sound awful at first try, tinny and no bass, but once you've experimented and found the right type of fitting that suits your ears and seals properly they sound MUCH better. Hope you like them.

I've had a pair for a couple of years, great sound quality and loads of bass from my old Creative Zen Xtra - as long as you get the fitting right. The foam part needs to be right in your ear canal with a a tight seal.

be warned that you won't be able to hear anything other than music when you've got them in, and it can be a pain to have to keep taking them out every time you need to talk to someone as they will take a while to get back in the right position.

Also once you've had quality headphones you won't be able to listen on anything less anymore - it just sounds too bad.
