Half the price of the 32" V series 2 years ago.
I know cause i ended up spending £2000 on the 40" model.

Amazing to think what price they will be in another 2 years.

Had a lucky escape, the glass mirror which my dad put on the wardrobe came off while I was at work, lucky nobody was in the room or they would be decapitated, the glass was 2 meters long and about 2 foot wide, its hit my desk and smashed, its damaged the desk and the laminate flooring and there is a tiny piece of glass in one of the monitors and LUCKY the Sony TV is fine.

The black box shows where the glass was stuck

Desk which is opposite where the glass came down.

Nice tv, but a shop price of 999 is a rip off. Actually thinking of it, im sure you can pick up the tosh 42X3030 for around £800 online using quidco and a few discount vouchers.

nice looking TV you've got there cheets. I'm going to have to get myself one around Christmas time, I'm still using a non wide screen CRT with a mono speaker .

Shop prices are always a rip off but £300 off is pretty decent for a Sony tv,

who cares what panels they use lol, its the tv itself that matters. id probably take a 32" sony (with a samsung panel) over a 37" lg any day of the wekk. 1080p or not.

how is it inferior? samsung are producing the best lcd panels FACT. my sony (with its darn samsug panel) > that lg

but with regards to size, colour accuracy and black levels are more inportant to me. i'll buy the screen that produces the best image thanks. 1080p @ 37" is a waste of time anyway. its pushing it at 40"

LOL whats with all this FACT stuff, quality is all subjective.

Personally I dont rate LG at all for screens, sure the specs may sound impressive but I go for image quality of a spec sheet any day of the week.

I have always found Panasonic to lead the way in the LCD world in outright picture quality terms, and Pioneer, fujitsu and Panasonic in the plasma world.

But as I said, its all subjective, if you like what your bought then everyones happy
