Hi, i have stupidly just reinstalled windows on to my PC as i was getting BSOD's but i have lost my motherboards support disc, so now erhernet etc does not work, could someone point me towards my next step please.

I have my laptop atm so can connect the the internet with that.

Will i need to get another disc, or can i download an ISO of the driver disc somewhere?

Cheers

It's an Asus M4A89GTD PRO btw

:( I ususally double check for spelling mistakes in thread titles

Anyway i have the necesary drivers now, i was a bit annoyed as i told my sister she could borrow my laptop but luckily she didn't take it with her today, otherwise i could have had real problems

Thanks for the help guys, just one more question, am i likely to need anything in the windows.old folder? can i just be deleted?

This is what I do..

Download the latest WLAN and LAN drivers for 32bit and 64bit from here.

http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/latest

Then I extract them to a USB stick, I'll call the folders

'Drivers\32bit\LAN'
'Drivers\64bit\LAN'
'Drivers\32bit\WAN'
'Drivers\64bit\WAN'

Then in device manger, I just point it at either the 32bit or 64bit driver and it will automatically install the right one, without any 3rd party application junk

Just to report that everything is back up and running now with no problems, in fact it seems much faster. Also the BSOD's i was getting have not reoccurred so (touch wood) hopefully everythng is stable now.

I have just copied some of the stuff i needed from windows.old and deleted it now also.

Thanks for your help guys
