Just realised age of empires definative edition is delayed

As title just read and I am a bit gutted anyone else going to be purchasing this ?

Want a new game not sure weather to get warhammer total war 2 or something else maybe a ww2 game were you control a squad or build army any recommendations?

have you tried company of heroes series ? or normandy 1944, a recent strategy game, all on steam

While I enjoyed AoE1, I wasn't really fussed by this to be honest and would probably just play the original if I wanted a fix. I'd go with CoH if it has to be WW2, otherwise there's also Supreme Commander, Dawn of War series and Sins of a Solar Empire (which also has a Star Trek Armada 3 mod) that I can think of which I enjoy.

What's the difference anyway? This isn't the new AoE IV is it? Just a reboxed version of the first three games.

I think it's a remake of the first one.
