Just received my 2407WFP

The monitor is simply awesome, but that's not why I'm posting. I know very little about HD, can someone recommend something to download so I can compare HD to my regular DVDs? Does 1080p mean HD, therefore should I just search for that? Is this monitor HD ready out the box>

search for HD video on the microsoft website, especially terminator 2.

Apple have trailers in Quicktime format in 480p and 1080p that you can compare.
