Hi I am a bit lost here, the instructions that came with my CPU doesnt really make it quite clear reagards to thermal paste.

Any way I was phoning around my local PC shops in my town to see if they had and thermal paste as I want to get it all setup today.

A guy i spoke to said you dont need to buy thermal paste these days as Its all ready on the parts.

Looking at my 4400+ chip its dry and doesnt have anything on it.. on the fan there is a sticker is this were the paste will be ? and I am ment to peel it off ??

Little bit lost here.

never seen that grey patch for some reason I thought I would be attaching the fan, with the fan at the bottom.

O my god how thick am I !!

Yer so that grey box all ready has it on so just attach and bobs ya uncle !

Does the grey patch normally have a sticker over it to keep the Gel fresh ?? I have had a look and I cant really tell, but if the all come with a a plastic cover seal I will start touching it to try and peel somethen off

any one no of a easy to follow giude to help me install it, I no its not rocket science but would just like something to work with incase I do somethen wrong

thanks for all your help every one !
