Just recieved a "bad" Xbox 360 controller from OcUK...

Heyy,

I recieved my order a couple days ago, but the controller seems like its from a bad batch or something...

The left trigger "squeaks" when I press it.

And the D-Pad's "up" and "down" buttons require LOTS of force for it to register (much more than "left" and "right").

Who shall I contact? Direct to Microsoft? or OcUK?
 
send a webnote the shop will help you a lot more than the forum can as your speakign direct to them
they will sort it out for you tho

EU trading laws state the retailer must take responsibility during the first 6 months.

the retailer must repair or replace during the first 6 months unless they can proove it wasnt faulty when it was sold.

sometimes you need to look up the actual law on trading standards website and qoute it word for word ;) as a lot of staff at various shops arent aware of the law even though its been around since i believe 2002

Hi,

If you haven't already let us know via the webnote system https://www.overclockers.co.uk/webnote.php#rma and we'll get on to it for you.

Bottom line if it's faulty we'll get a new one out to you!

What you'll need to do is arrange to ship your product back including the RMA number that we give you and we'll ship a replacement out once we've tested it which should be fairly quick.
