Hi all,

This is just a minor problem but its really annoying to be honest - i've just reformatted onto a new hard drive with Windows XP pro - just now all the drivers installed / antivirus etc etc but i'm having a strange problem with the open folders.

When I drag them around i'm getting a very annoying ghosting trail - also a slight problem when i open and close the task bar fast - I have a 1800xt and the latest drivers.. anyone have any idea how I can fix this? I've found a sort of fix by unticking the box in display settings that lets me move a window around without redrawing it untill I stop but I know I didnt have that clicked last time..

Anyone experienced this before? it's going to be one of those super annoying niggles I can tell!

cheers

*Just checked and its doing it on apps too.. must be a driver thing?

if i understand, u reinstalled xp on a different drive? did u install your motherboard drivers before you installed your graphics drivers? or possibly old dodgy 1s?

I no i had that problem before kinda, interface just rather slow and crapy, before i installed my motherboard drivers?

Yep, experienced this just this evening actually

The problem (for me anyway) was because I installed my graphics card drivers before my motherboard and other drivers...once i did it the right way round it works fine, but I had the exact problem you have detailed.

Sorry if that's no help :( all I can think of I'm afraid
