Just saw Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny !!

and it's absolutely quality !

if you're a fan of The D then familiarise yourself with the new album then go see it..... the opening scene with Meatloaf and Dio is brilliant..... as is the "Rock Off" with the Devil (Dave Grohl)........

try to go to a decent cinema that you know has good sound ! hearing the songs from the new album at volume really makes it !
 
I don't even know Tenacious D's music well apart from the well known songs, but I loved it. Very enjoyable film, loads of references to other films too :D clockwork orange, karate kid.

Music was ace too, and the film had a good flow to it. Was never bored, and would've happily watched for longer.
 
i'm not too keen on mr black

he was ok in saving silverman (aka evil woman) and good in king kong

but i dont find him funny most of the time :(
 
i went to see on release and im a huge D fan. Loved the film, imo its up there with the greats, such as borat. its hilarious

i dont get why its bombed so much in usa and not so many people seem to like it here. but the people that do like it think its ace :D
 
Tenacious D are damn legends (tributeeeee, **** her gentlyyyy), can't wait to see this what would you guys give it out of 10? :D
