I’ve already made a few purchases

Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE Gaming Case
ASUS - ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO AMD X570 AM4 Motherboard
AMD - Ryzen 7 3700X Processor
CORSAIR - RM850x Modular ATX PSU - 850 W
CORSAIR - iCUE H150i XT Liquid 360 mm CPU Cooler - RGB LED
SAMSUNG - 960 Evo 2.5" Internal SSD - 500 GB

got 16gb 3600 ram coming this week but need a temp graphics card to get system up and running. Picking up a 3070 when released. Any other recommendations let’s us know.
 
I would get a 1tb+ nvme SSD and maybe go with 32gb of ram if your planning to keep the system for a while.

Can pick up a used Gpu for a few quid to tide you over.
 
Already got the nvme but plan on adding another at a later date. Prob 2tb 2.5ssd. Also plan on adding another 16gb ram at later date also.
 
so completed the build with temp gpu Saturday gone. Done everything, bios update all windows updates, got fans and cooler running to my liking in icue. Then tested temp with stress test everything ok. Used it every day since but yesterday, today come home from work and went to turn the computer on and just heard a click and that was it. Rgb light and start light on but nothing else, took all the components out ram, gpu etc and still nothing. Stripped out the power supply and tried jumping it and just 1 click. Really got me this.
 
New power supply in and back working. Got recommended to put a speaker on it see if it beeps to let me know any problem. So when attached I got a lot of clicking with the motherboard light change and continuous whine after start up. Don’t hear any when speaker isn’t attached.
