I have just started trying out seti@home with boinc and have a few questions if you would be so kind...

I have installed boinc and registered with team 10. Is that it? just leave it to do its thing?

I have specced up a new rig based on a 2600K but not sure about the gfx I chose..

Asus GTX480 1536MB
Would the GTX480 do well with seti?

Lastly, is it worth keeping a i5 750 at 3.6 with only a HD4350 just for cpu folding?

Pictures are not very clear but here is what it's up to..

welcome to the team;
isnt the i5-750 a quad core? should be able to run 4 tasks at once. Coupled with the HD4350, its not the greatest at points/watt that you can achieve. But any computing power is good... I had my atom netbook chugging along at one point lol.
If you haven't bought the graphics card yet, I might suggest you look at a 560 instead of a 480; long term running costs will be lower (170 W vs 250 W), for about 80 theoretical GFlops less computing power (don't ask me how many points that is, I have no clue).
