Hi guys,

I've just started to order my parts for my first build.

Just wanted to know whether its best to get a E2180 or E4500. i dont really wanna go any more expensive than the E4500.

I know the E4500 is .20ghz faster but i plan to overclock as much as a i can without melting it... dunno whether the E2180 is a better option to overclock.

Thanks..

The 4500 has double the cache of the E2180, 2 MB vs. 1 MB. If the price fits in your budget go for the 4500. Altough the cashe does not make too much difference.

Il go for the 4500 then. What could i overclocko that too? how much do i have to spend on a cooler to be able to clock this a far way, over 3.ghz

Depends on your budget, if the extra £20 is nothing to you then get the 4500.

I got the E2180 and it went straight to 2.7ghz on stock volts. Actualy I think it's even under volted as it's @ 1.28V.

Would no dought pull 3.5ghz with some more voltage but it handles everything I throw at it.

ok well ive got a 500w power supply. My mobo will be a socket 775... can some1 find me a good cooler that is not that expensive, i was thinking about gettin the Tuniq Tower 120-LFB CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775).

Does any1 know one thats better that is cheaper? or around the same price?
