Hi all,

I was saving up money in a spare bank account to buy a gaming pc but unfortunately lost my job :( so i only have around 400-450 atm for a PC and came across the AMD X4 Raid system.

Trying to keep it as close to the £400 mark as possible Im planning on upgrading the hard drive to - Seagate barracuda 1TB 7200rpm SATA 6Gb/s 64mb cache hard drive.

also the graphics card to - AMD HD 7750 2048mb GDDR3 graphics card.

planning on running everything on Archlinux if it is possible as this will save me a few £ on a OS plus I had a few problems with windows/Microsoft so switched to Linux and i haven't looked back since.

Types of games ill be playing are: BF3 and 4 (when released) Dayz, Gears of war, Dirt, Skyrim

If anyone could help me out abit then it would be appreciated i was considering building my own but as i have no experience in computer building i thought its best to get a already built system.

Thanks

P.s sorry for the bad grammar

thanks to the pair of you on your input ive looked through a few videos on building your on pc and i think i will be able to do it as ive spoke to a friend who built his own and he said if i need any help he will lwnd a hand so think im going to go down that route now

Completely forgot that I was working a week in hand at work so I'm due another payday next Friday so can stretch the budget to 550-600 as i don't want to spend it all on a build as I'm not sure how long i will be out of work for.

think im going to go with the AMD option, But noticed the AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8320 Black Edition 3.50GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor is currently out of stock so going have to order it from somewhere else :( (wanted to get all my items from overclockers)

thanks a lot potty27
