"Just stop oil"

This is so funny

I pointed out a few weeks back that they should just do this with them over here, IIRC people were adamant that it would cause serious injuries, in reality, it's not exactly going to stick well to tarmac and would just sting a little bit. See the girl (while the guy is doing his dramatic footballer crying for the ref thing) she had a bit of a sting and then is left looking at her hand with some small fragments of tarmac still glued to it.

Less faffing around with scalpels etc.. just grab them and drag them to the side of the road.

I don't speak the lingo but did he really call for his mum?

Yes. And his god. Although it might or might not mean the same in France as it does in England. Maybe it's more of a general swearing there. I don't know.

Whether he meant it or was playing it up for the camera is a different matter. It's like a footballer falling over in a match. Tripped or dived? But harder to tell.

I don't pay much attention to these clowns, just see the odd headline aboue some art that they've tried and failed to ruin.
Does anyone in employment actually support this group?

Can't believe they are still up there and the police still haven't managed to get them down.

Just shoot them with a tranquilizer and air lift them out of there.

So you prefer to put at risk multiple services and equipment to conduct such an exercise?

I put more value in the Coastguard search + rescue team, the helicopter etc.. that would be required to do this, than value I put in the morons climbing up there.

Just ignore them and move on. Re-open the road and leave them to their fate. If they fall, well tough ****, they should not have been up there.

The bridge should never have been closed in the first place, all such health and safety knee jerks do is set the tone for another main road or rail bridge to suffer a similar fate.

If Truss has the power she should order it reopened. At least some London commuters and businessmen would like her...

Oh I agree that is the best course of action but again the poor driver that will have the PTSD of them being flattened on the bonnet wouldn't be right.

Hire a sniper, take one of them out. The other one will probably leave of his own accord quite quickly.

Better yet, don't just leave them up there... force them to stay up there..

Refuse to let them down. They wanted to play silly-buggers on their terms, now they have to endure it on ours..

Keep them up there during 30mph winds, driving rain and freezing temperatures.

Then when they are finally ready to admit their mistake and concede, you charge them with various offenses including endangering the public and lock them up for 10 years.

They're on the A40 this morning next to Baron's Court. Pretty close to where my wife works, and pretty close to where we live. It's our commute home.

I'm gonna go check the workshop for some chains and padlocks, if they're in my way on the way home I'm padlocking those vermin to the street furniture.

******* cockroaches.

They are costing the economy millions of pounds a day at a time when we can least afford it and they are doing **** all of benefit. I don't think that a single person will have changed their mind on climate change because of them. We know we are ****** if we keep going down the path we are. We need governments and corporations to deal with it. That ain't going to happen until things get much worse than they are now.

These people are just punishing the everyday people trying to scratch a living. They are doing nothing good.

Lol welcome back. What's this, your 5th account in the last month? :D

No idea what you're on about. Maybe you're the sort of guy who would dual wield 2 pints?

I do agree that leaving them up there with a diversion in place would be the smarter play. Like the attention seeker, ignore them and they'll stop.
