Just swapped my Thermaltake blue LED Rear Fan (standard on the Thermaltake Shark) with an akasa amber blade 120mm quiet fan :)... the difference in noise is unbelievable....my thermaltake blue fan sounded like a hurricane.... this Akasa is keeping my CPU cooler than my Thermaltake Fan and its about half as loud. :D :D :D Time to buy a Noctua 120 Ultra Quiet 1200Rpm for the front, and then a Kama-Bay with another Noctua 120 for the 5.25" drive bays :D

Why buy Noctuas for the front and an Amber for the back? The Noctuas are much better than Akasa Ambers, you should have got a Noctua for the rear too. :)

I'd personally just get some Yate Loons, they are far cheaper and outperform the Noctua's. I have just switched out the Scythe that came with my Kama bay (see project link) and its great!!

And Yate-Loons are about £6 each too. Much cheaper than the others, and better.

Lots of shops don't stock them as the realised profit margin is too low.

eg.

If you buy a fan in at £3 and sell it for £6 you've made a gross profit of 100% but that 100% is £3.

If you buy a fan in at £7 and sell it for £11, even though the you've only made a gross profit of 58%, you've made £4 profit.

So for every £11 fan you sell, you make an extra £1 over the cheaper, better one, so it's more profitable in the real world to sell higher value components.
