Hi all,

I have recently swapped case, but weirdly when I try to boot now I get the windows 7 boot manager come up. My keyboard works when posting as I can go to BIOS, but after that it doesnt, when it gives me the option to start windows normally or go to startup repair the keyboard just does not work.

I have tried every USB port on the motherboard

Any ideas?

Cleared CMOS, still no good, can't even boot to windows 7 DVD as keyboard just fails to work after post, its a USB keyboard so could be something to do with USB channels after post.

This is an older AM2 motherboard so does have PS2 ports on but I don't have a PS2 keyboard until tomorrow.

same kind of thing happened to me when I changed some components and windows didnt recognised my KB straight away to enter the password to login. It took couple of minutes and then it responded.

Doesnt even get in to windows because of the boot issue :p

Rob - Cheers mate that worked, I didnt even know that was an option, it was disabled after CMOS reset, not sure if it was enabled/disabled prior to that but thanks, it's working, now I can sort out my boot issue :)
