Just to clarify...

an upside down 360

[Useful mode] Is your 360 horizontal or vertical? Obviously its orientation will affect which lights you perceive as flashing. IIRC rrod is the only error that flashes 3 lights so i think it must be that. Either way, it's 4 months old so it doesn't matter much, just go get yerself a replacement [/Useful mode]

lol, its vertical - so your saying it will be the top right quadrent however I am looking at it?

I think that legally they have to give you a replacement yeah though don't quote me on that. Also, remove the competitor hint, it'll get yer in trouble :)

Just had a look, rrod is top right light, check things like the cables etc are plugged in correctly, it kicks out a funky error if the video cable isn't plugged in right, if it doesn't boot at all then just return it anyway. A faults a fault and it's in warranty.

I would be double checking all connections (AV, hard drive, etc) just to be sure, as I can't find anything related to the error code you're being given.

Right ->

Your right light isn't flashing, so yeah, that's a RROD, take it back.

Another thing is , how am I going to get my saves from my xbox HDD to a memory card so I can transfer them to my new 60gb one?
 
Either way it is a rough ride from now on, your live purchases are registered to the box, not the drive. :(

The lights change accordingly to orientation don't they, so the same light pattern will always be lit regardless of which way you have the console? (unless it is upside down, horizontally or vertically :p)
