I do have a XP Pro cd which came with my old pc but not for XP HOME. My XP pro cd aint working. it keeps freezing on installation or even formatting. one time it got past the formatting and the installation and got into windows and was getting the updates and it froze. it does it randomly freezing and i cant do nothing with it. Its worked perfectly for 6 months but not since i tried to install i Buffalo network card. Its not the CD though its just something on XP Pro because HOME works.
the reason i borrowed it in the first place was to test to see if the cd was the problem with my PC if that makes sense. HOME works so i thought it must be my XP Pro, but i wanted PRO on there as im selling it. So i tried another xp pro CD and same problem. so i dont know what the problem is but i do know that only Home works.
p.s. how do u pm someone?
