too hard drives have disappeared completely arent even showing in disk management both new so im guessing i have some issues but zero idea what to do next really

one is sata linked the other 3 are nm ones two showing one missing

any ideas please

ok sorted drives.. can you change the folder views back to the old style

I would recommend star dock. You can make it look like windows 7/10

Explorer patcher is another option to make W11 look like W10.

What sorted the issue with the drives?

Aftert a few reboots they magically showed up and i could reassign drive letters..

then when coming out of sleep mode they disappeared

reboot again and updates today and see what happens next..

hating the folders though

Issue still there.. running a msi x570 ace max.. nvme drives show but internal sata drive wont show after sleep .. shows everytime after a reboot. wondering if its being put to sleep in sleep and then something fails to reboot or power it after coming out
not the end of thwe world but already missing windows 10.. that and not being able to finfd a windows 10 type folder in the options

I finally moved from Windows 10 after the constant reminders as well.

Did a clean install though and then installed the latest 24H2 update. No issues at all here. Mind you, have Windows 11 on my work laptop so have been getting used to its quirks.

If you want to stick to 11 maybe see if you have a spare drive you can swap out and do a clean install of Windows 11.

If its still an issue then roll back to 10
