Just want i wanted a pefect keyboad & mouse for my HTPC

I had a Keysonic too - great build quality - but the battery life on my one (Bluetooth I think) was very poor

I'm not sure if I've even changed the batteries in the K400 yet - it just seems to go on and on - and I never turn if "off" so to speak

I'm in a similar boat, as I have a Logitech K400. The form factor is great, but I find the trackpad a bit unresponsive.

I'm on the hunt for similar form factor as the K400, but with a capacitive trackpad

I use a Logitech K830 and love it, illuminated so makes it ideal for use in the dark when watching movies etc.

Dinovo Edge is the best one have used (And been through quite a few)

Mostly nowaday I just use remote mouse app on my phone, just simply does what i need.

^ This would be my keyboard of choice for a HTPC. I'm considering it.

That Corsair thing in OP is for gaming while sitting upright in an armchair, it would be way too cumbersome/uncomfortable for HTPC use.

If I want to use my HTPC its because I want to lie down/get comfortable. Not have a plank of wood draped across my thighs with a keyboard, mouse and wires hanging out of it. I've got my desk for that.

Put your TV on your computer desk and replace your office chair with an armchair and you've basically got that Corsair abomination for free, or just buy a plank of wood and glue some memory foam onto it, it does exactly the same thing. :D

K400 is nice on a solid surface, but I have difficulty stabilising it on my lap. I haven't used it for ages for that reason, I actually prefer getting up off the sofa and walking to the PC
