Yeah the cinema I work at had a staff showing today, we used the digital projector with a 3d filter thing on it and saw it in 3d (u have to wear some glasses that look like cheap sunglasses, not the silly blue and red ones) and it was so awesome!

The movie itself was pretty good, nothing special by any means but the 3d effects were just incredible, seeing an arrow coming right at you and your reflexes make you blink is really cool.

Also the projectionest was telling me, because it's a digital showing the film is 218gb, imagine torrenting that badboy.

Err at the cinema I work at we have the one digital projector which is capable of such things, the rest are the standard analogue projectors. I think the digital projector was extremely expensive.

We're doing two showings of Beowulf, one in standard format and the other in 3d (you have to pay an extra £2 for the glasses as well haha)

Right at the beginning of the film (not a spoiler btw) there was like a little clip, i don't really know what it was I was too amazed but basically there was like a waterfall but it just looked like it was in the air between the screen and me it was jaw dropping to see. There was another scene where a body got thrown and it came out off the screen towards me. Awesome.

hehe, I remember 3d films when I was kid in the states - wearing these horrible green and red lensed cardboard-framed glasses. They never did anything for me :)

My English student housemates almost cry everytime they see the advert for Beowulf. I love how they have 'Sparta'ed up the lead...

'I. AM. BEOWULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLF!'

Yeah those glasses were stupid, much better now with these ones, the glasses are clear and don't affect the colour.

Haha yeah I agree. The film itself was pretty good, it was worth the watch but nothing special imo. The 3d effects were really what made it for me.

Have you seen recent pictures of her? She looks 10 years older than what she is and is nothing more than a skeleton. :(
