Just watched Children Of Men

Firstly, what a fantastic movie!

Secondly, I have a few questions regarding it.

1) The old chap with glasses, what was wrong with his OH?

2) What led to every woman becoming infertile?

3) Those who killed Julian, I understand they did for their own reasons but were they not apart of the 'uprising'? Also this uprising, was it just a segregation of immigrants?

The scene were all soldiers stop mid-fire was pretty awesome!

The film is full of excellent cinematography, notably that sequence (which plays out as one long take -- though apparently there are a few cuts which are unnoticeable).

The scary thing about the film is it's not actually that hard to imagine a society like that...

Absolutely stunning cinematography really gritty, loved the film. As to your questions, I'll have to re-watch it methinks to give answering them a go!

IIRC, it doesn't actually say what caused it. There is a scene where they are hypothesising, something about gamma rays IIRC, but it never really explains it, you just have to accept that it happened.

The film is great. One of my favourite parts was when they were trying to escape from the farm in the car that wouldn't start. Got my adrenaline going

Superb film with great cinematography, I love the bit when they are in the valley and the people start coming down the hill and they get chased by the motorbike, very good especially as that was all one real take, the bit at the end was a few takes with cgi to make each take join up.

Suprised it didn't get an Oscar for cinematography really.

If you mean michael caine's characters wife.

She was tortured I think. The camera pans around pictures and news clippings when they visit his house. The clippings are to do with her.

I thought it was a load of ****! I didn't understand any of it and nothing was explained, I wouldn't even pay 1p to watch it on VM. All IMO.
