Just went to view a car, have a few questions...

There is a difference between not wishing to or not needing to and not being able to. I dare say that if a lawyer decided they did wish to undertake their own oil change, faliure would be unlikely.

Even I can change oil, and I'm a retard.
Do you ever read something you don't completely agree with and think 'Nah, I'll not bother replying to that one'? ;)

We on about a guy here who wants to ask the owner to prove how 'cleva' an engineer they are before they buy his car

In my experience working here at Millbrook around plenty of highly qualified automotive engineers, the amount of common sense and the amount of qualifications are nearly always in reverse proportion to each other.

Sounds like Milbrook needs to review its recruitment policy if those people are employed at a site that is primarily involved in testing.

Yes if you have been driving it hard...

If you have been driving it off boost for a few minutes before arrival then its not much different..

Main problem is it burns the oil off in the turbo bearings if you shut it down while its red hot...

Thats why people fit turbo timers

:D

walk away

and quickly

imho. Cant see any possible reason why you'd want to start a car before somebody came to view it unless there was something to hide

surely if he just wanted a one off check, he'd have done this before he made the decision to sell ...

I agree 100% I would want to see it start from stone cold first as well...

Many buyes miss this, only to find that its a beyatch to start first cold morning..

Never buy a car without hearing it on cold start...
