Very nice. You ever play at casino's?
I play a lot of "live games" but usually in pubs ( back room games ) , I do play at Gala in Nottm though

also play loads of poker when in Vegas

Europe's biggest poker room is opening soon near where I live so that should be good

be interesting to see how big the field is this year with the US internet ban

would love to have a go myself but I couldn't gamble with that sort of money

He won a tournie which gave him the package there. However he is a very good player, and has beaten several professionals in the past. His prize money is in the £80000+ territory that I know about!

He did tell me how many players were registered, but I can't remember.

it's not known yet as you can register right up to the day, was over 8000 last year

I see. Is the top prize something like $12m? They reckon it could be between 11000-12000 players (wiki)

it was that sort of amount last year, can't see the field being that big this year

Yeah, best part was when it got to heads up, (which happened to be at about 9 am in the morning) I had about 3 million chips my opponent had 11 million. So we didn't cut a deal... It was a satisfying comeback.

And no Rotty, they weren't :) Only spent $12. :D

at one point heads up I had 95000 to his 400000 ish , got it back to about equal by which point I had a good read on him

if a flop was seen unraised and I was first to act then a BB bet from me would produce either a fold or all-in from him , having worked this out I just had to wait

a flop came unraised , I had 79 he had 8T , flop came 68T rainbow , i made the BB bet and he, of course, went all in :D

Used to work for them, IT support anyway. The head office is on castle blvd.

There's some crazy chinese people playing silly money in those joints. Quite amazing to watch from the side lines though!

Jon :)

oh yes , the huge rolls of cash you see are astonishing

ALL YIN  ;) :D
