I have had my car license since 2001 – no accidents or convictions on that, but having recently passed my full bike test, will this new(ish) two year thing apply to me?

I’m guessing it will be a yes and if I rack up six points on the bike, I’ll lose both – anyone know if this is correct?

no your fine the 2 year thing only happens 1 (12 points you can get now so dont have to worry)
