WTH is with all these kids wearing their jeans/trousers so low? Wasn't this originally a black thing, intended to show solidarity with their bro's in prison (something to do with no belts?)

Interesting, I didn't know this was why they did it.
Solidarity with people in prison for committing acts of violence, robbery, gang membership, just the folks we all should be showing solidary towards.

EDIT: I can't stand the pants on display thing that seems to be "cool" at the moment. As if it's not bad enough having to see peoples pants, they always seem to be ugly and faded (the pants, not the people!)
