Yes it runs at 1024x768. Will take some pics when the 360 is on, missis watching Eastenders at the moment :rolleyes:

If you're saving shots of Xbox in play, save them as .PNG and don't reduce the size (take them on maximum and don't touch).

My grandad has the new Viera and I might take my Xbox360 down there one day this week.

Yea, he could be playing the normal dvd in the pc and upscaling it to a HD resolution.

A n00b question for you all:

This panel runs in 1024x768, which is 4:3 ratio. I understand from reviews it uses non square pixels to give you 16:9. So what happens to HDTV signals which are bigger than that res?

I brought this up the other day, and I'm still sceptical that a 1280x720 source can be displayed on a 1024x768 display device correctly and to its best effect.

haha, I'm not going through all this again lol, but if you read page 2 of "my wife let me buy a hdtv" theres a technical explanation in there.....or just forget about counting pixels and enjoy the 360 on just about the best quality screen money can buy.
