Yesterday I bought and installed a wireless network (again, old one had problems). Now when i play games every 60 seconds or so the game will freeze for about 1 - 2 seconds then continue as normal (noticed on WoW and warcraft3 although not on CoH).
- My computer is connected to the network using the wireless USB adapter.
- Drivers all installed although I havn't updated the router firmware or got any new drivers, all are from the CD.
- The router is a D-Link DKT-710.
- The network is set to "G" and the speed set to "auto" in the settings.
- There is basic encryption active.
- I have AVG and windows firewall active (although still jutters with firewall off).
I wasn't having the problem from what I saw when the computer was using a wired network, its not a power issue as it never happens under any other situation and the signal strength is very good / excellent.
Any tips please or help. Its not fatal but REALLY annoying.
Thanks in advance

edit: as an example on warcraft 3, the figures on the map freeze for a second but all animations in the action bar (i.e. the portrait) keep animation.
